What a Wednesday whirlwind that was!
The Uniondale Golf Club’s Spring Wednesday League has wrapped up, and we’ve officially crowned our champions: Sarel, Farnie, and Barry!
These three didn’t just play well—they absolutely owned the 4-hole competition, racking up a mighty 11 points. That’s the sort of score that makes the rest of us wonder whether they’ve secretly been practising… or bribing the golf gods with biltong.
A huge congratulations to the trio for taking the title. Their drives were straight, their putts were pure, and their banter was top-tier entertainment.
A big thank you as well to everyone who joined us throughout the league. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and good humour made every Wednesday a blast. Without you, it would just be three guys hitting balls around—fun, sure, but nowhere near as memorable.
