On 12 October 2024, the Uniondale community came together for a fantastic cause – raising funds for cancer awareness and support. The event, held at the scenic Uniondale Golf Course, was a day filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of activities for all ages.

The day kicked off with a fun walk around the lush golf course. Families, friends, and locals put on their walking shoes and enjoyed the beautiful weather while taking in the serene views. The walk was a reminder of the importance of staying active and supporting each other through life’s challenges.

Next up was a spirited bowls game that brought out the competitive side of participants. The relaxed atmosphere of bowls allowed people of all skill levels to join in and enjoy a friendly game while raising money for a meaningful cause.

Of course, no event at the Uniondale Golf Course would be complete without a round of golf. Golfers took to the greens, showing off their skills while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow players. Whether seasoned golfers or casual players, everyone contributed to the cause and had a great time doing so.

In between activities, there was no shortage of delicious food, tea, and coffee to keep everyone energized and refreshed. The variety of treats on offer ensured that there was something for everyone, from light snacks to heartier meals.
