What a sizzler of a season that was!
The Uniondale Golf Club’s Summer Wednesday League has officially crossed the finish line, and we have a lone wolf standing at the top of the leaderboard. A massive congratulations to our Summer Champion: Ken Dodds!
Ken didn’t just navigate the summer heat; he turned it up a notch. While the rest of us were busy searching for shade (or our lost balls in the rough), Ken was busy putting on a masterclass. Whether it was a stroke of genius or he’s found a way to negotiate with the Uniondale wind, his performance was nothing short of "Ken-tastic."
A huge well done to Ken for taking the title. His consistency on the greens and his steady hand under pressure proved that while the sun was hot, his game was even hotter.
To everyone else who teed up over the last few months—thank you. Your participation is what makes these Wednesdays the highlight of the week. From the near-misses to the lucky bounces, the camaraderie at the clubhouse is what really wins every time.
